The decisive advantage in this application is that these installation springs can remain in the expansion joint after the floor has been installed - without causing damage, as experience shows is the case with forgotten spacer wedges. With the FN IS 1 and FN IS 2 installation springs, bulging of the floor due to moisture, temperature changes or forgotten spacer wedges can be avoided.

The FN IS 1 and IS 2 installation springs were developed as an effective support for the floor layer when installing so-called click floors, where the spring can be used from a floor thickness of 6 mm.

The FN installation springs are simply inserted into the expansion joint and thus replace the spacer wedges during floor installation.
